About Us

Since 1977, the Children's Center of San Lorenzo Valley (CCSLV) has provided a safe and loving space that actively nurtures young people's social, creative, and intellectual development. Our long-standing reputation for delivering affordable, high-quality childcare and pre-school services for the working families in our area motivates our ongoing commitment to excellence.

Classes for All Ages

At CCSLV, children play and learn together in a nurturing and stimulating environment with  developmentally appropriate and challenging curriculum.  Whether you’re looking for short-term childcare or a long-term educational program; CCSLV offers classes for all ages:

  • The Infant Program: 3 months - 18 months
  • The Toddler Program: 18 months -3 years
  • The Preschool Program: 3 years -5 years

A Nutritious Food Program

CCSLV is the only group (non-home based) childcare facility in the San Lorenzo Valley to include three healthy, vegetarian meals daily in each of its programs.

Low Student-Teacher Ratios and High Standards

The Children’s Center of San Lorenzo Valley follows the guidelines and is currently in its re-accreditation phase for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation program - a rare honor among the many childcare providers in our area.  This allows for low student to teacher ratios compared to California State licensing standards and higher standards than are required by State Licensing . A Tranquil Setting

CCSLV is located in beautiful Highlands Park in Ben Lomond.  Our setting is safe, tranquil, and convenient. The open space lends itself well to nature walks and we have an extra community playground at our doorstep.
